The production of one of Germany's largest automotive suppliers was on the brink of collapse – an imminent production standstill! But the Spindeldoctor team led by Chris Oppermann saved the day.
Chris, a former Grob technician with DMG MORI training, gave his all last weekend. Starting on Friday, the machine was brought back into shape not only on Saturday but also on Sunday. The goal: to prevent the impending standstill.
And it worked! The machine is running perfectly again, with an impressive spindle run-out of 0.002 mm at HSK 100 on a 300 mm arbor.
