Piper GmbH

The company Kurt Piper Werkzeugmaschinen und Industriebedarf was founded in 1964, the main commercial activity was in the machine tool sector. Piper rounded off its range with a wide range of accessories and components for machine tools. Piper was a competent contact for industrial companies, but also for vocational schools and training companies, when it came to equipping them with powerful and reliable machine tools. With the takeover by Klaus Linke in 1979, the product range was expanded to include painting and spray painting systems from Walter as well as washing and degreasing systems from Metaals. In the years that followed, Linke continued to develop surface technology – cleaning, gluing, painting, spray painting – as a very successful business segment. For large industrial customers in the Berlin region, Piper has established itself as a competent partner for mechanical and plant engineering. Piper has installed his spraying systems at Gillette, Orenstein & Koppel, BMW, Daimler, Ford, Deutsche Bahn and the electronics manufacturer Samsung, among others. Piper also takes care of the ongoing maintenance and repair work for these systems.  In addition to surface technology, Piper GmbH focuses in particular on development tasks and special designs according to customer requirements in the machine tool sector. In 2013, the strategic cooperation with the CNC machine tool manufacturer RAIS marked a decisive milestone in the history of Piper GmbH. In cooperation with RAIS, Piper GmbH offers its customers in Germany a comprehensive and competent range of services. Individual customer wishes can be realized and implemented without any problems. Since May 2016, Piper GmbH has also taken over the sales and service of XYZ Machine Tools in Germany and Austria. The CNC machine tool specialists at XYZ Machine Tools are market leaders in the UK and impress with their stability, reliability, accuracy, sophisticated designs and fast availability of machines. In October 2016, Piper GmbH was expanded to include the compressed air product area at the Westhausen site. This division specialises in integrated system and service solutions in the field of compressed air.
