The outdated Buck deep drilling concept from 2000 was completely revised, redesigned and reconstructed by the UHLY team. With the aim of short transport routes and production independence, we wanted to guarantee flawless, on-schedule production quality. The decision in 2012 led to four new machines in two different series being delivered the following year.Today, three series are produced in eleven designs and numerous possible applications. The frames are manufactured in hybrid construction.The result: extreme rigidity and lasting precision. Therefore, no machine needs foundations. Fast assembly, small space requirements and efficient access to the workpieces despite the very heavy weight of the workpieces are the key words that drive the team around the Uhly Company every day.The machine control was also redesigned. BUCKUHLY machines now have programming specifically adapted by UHLY. The control was precisely tailored to the processing technology. This provides the user with numerous information displays and text descriptions in several help menus as well as special processing cycles. The programming of the CAD/CAM interface is also supported in-house. By customizing CAD/CAM systems, your own application specialists are available to implement the machine kinematics and the best machining strategy.
